DockSwitch privacy policy

The DockSwitch Mac app

DockSwitch does not collect or transmit personal data. It has no analytics, advertising, tracking, user accounts, or app network connections.

Your shortcut assignments and preferences are stored locally on your Mac. Automatic mode reads the pinned application order from the Dock’s preferences, on device and read-only. The app checks running-application and on-screen-window metadata to decide whether to reveal or hide an app. It does not read window titles, browser history, page contents, keystrokes typed into other apps, or document contents.

Manual mode uses the standard macOS app picker to select target applications. Global shortcuts are registered with macOS. Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions are not required. Start at login uses macOS Login Items and can be disabled at any time.

DockSwitch may display a local error message if an app cannot be opened or brought forward. These messages are not sent to us.

This website

This site is hosted by Cloudflare. We have not added analytics, advertising trackers, account features, or a mailing-list form. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request information such as IP addresses and browser/request details to deliver and protect the website. Its infrastructure may retain operational or security information under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Website delivery is separate from the Mac app, which makes no network connections.

If you contact support

If you email contact@yudis.dev, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to answer your request and investigate the reported issue. Please avoid sending private browsing contents, documents, credentials, or other sensitive information. You can request deletion of support correspondence by emailing the same address, subject to any retention required by law.

App Store purchases

When DockSwitch becomes available on the Mac App Store, Apple will handle purchase and payment information under Apple’s privacy policy. DockSwitch has no subscription, payment form, or in-app account.
